A gorgeous setting, an intriguing murder mystery, love, family ties, betrayal, and forgiveness. I love this movie I just wish it was longer.

Even my eight-year-old granddaughter liked it. She loves fairy tales and happily ever afters. A wonderful movie for the romantic at heart!
This was a wonderful movie. It had romance, a mystery, and a ghost! A man was murdered years ago. Every year for the last 95 years he appears in the house he used to own for twelve days before Christmas.
For twelve days he becomes flesh and blood. He has no idea who killed him or why and no idea how or why he returns at Christmas.
Kate needs an appraisal on the house in order to put it on the market and settle the estate of the most recent owner.
When she arrives her appraiser is running away and the caretaker insists the man encountered Daniel, the ghost. In order to prove him wrong she decides to spend the night there.
What happens when she meets Daniel. I definitely recommend this movie, especially if you love a good romance.
This movie remind me of "Ghost and Mrs Muir" but also stood firmly on its own. A lovely romance movie. I have come to really enjoy this movie.

One thing that gets a bit tiring is that Christmas movies are 'soft'. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Christmas movie addict. I'll watch 'soft' till it's coming out my yin yang.
But it's refreshing to see the care and effort that went into this movie. It doesn't just feel like an advertisement for Christmas or a quick run-of-the-mill Christmas film.

The acting is good, it's well written, and the setting is beautiful supposedly an inn in Vermont but actually southern MA.
Every year I try to find a different Christmas story other than the usual "Hallmark" tradition of man meets woman, sticky situation made by themselves, then happy ending.
I like the happy ending part but getting their should be interesting and this movie has it. The mystery was wonderful and intriguing. So if you want a good story line, good acting and a great conclusion, you will like this movie.
