I don't think the voices match the characters but I don't think my opinion will count for much here for one reason: I prefer most subs over dubs anyway.

If you like dubs just watch the dub. You'll enjoy it more that way. I've watched it through both ways multiple times.

I'm not even sure which I prefer. It is definitely well done, and IMHO better translated than the official sub.

Watch it. I am biased because I watched the dub before attempting the sub and became super attached to the voices. Plus, some of the translations are super weird in the sub.

The problem with Jun for me was that he was rather one-note albeit a great one. His tone changed very little, no matter the situation- and that's not a good thing on a show with changes in setting as frequent and as drastic as Code Geass's.

And it's not a feeling I've gotten from other VAs, so it's probably not because I suck at reading people's tone in Japanese.
