Wegener warns his contact, a famed Japanese general, of Operation Dandelion, an upcoming Goebbels-approved plan for the Nazis to launch a surprise attack on the Japanese Home Islands , to obliterate them in a Battle of annihilation.
As Frink is elsewhere exposed as a Jew and arrested, Wegener and Tagomi are confronted by two SD agents, both of whom Tagomi shoots dead with an antique American pistol.

I like to regard it as an open ending. It will segue into a sequel sometime. Somebody would have to come in and help me do a sequel to it.
Someone who had the stomach for the stamina to think along those lines, to get into the head; if you're going to start writing about Reinhard Heydrich, for instance, you have to get into his face.
Can you imagine getting into Reinhard Heydrich's face? Dick , a collection of his essays and other writings. The novel eventually became a new story unrelated to The Man in the High Castle.

Please try again later. I agree with previous comments that the first season was the best with fascinating story lines that kept your interest.
The second had some good story lines with the Smith family's conundrum that made them seem more human and almost likeable. Also, in the second season the trade minister's character and his relationship with Julianna was quite interesting.
However, even though the plot is still somewhat interesting in this season, it is getting wearying and the characters seem flatter as mentioned by another reviewer.
The introduction of the gay theme seems totally unnecessary and pandering to the current cultural and media trends. It seems that the writers introduced the gay theme, increased sex scenes, and more violence to make the story more edgy without adding anything to the story line.
I would be interested to see if this theme is in the book. And the scene in Cuba that combines sex with violence was totally deplorable.
I don't know who the writers and producers are trying to impress with that vulgar display, but I think they are totally missing their audience as is evidenced by the decrease in excellent and good ratings this year.
As another reviewer also stated, I think maybe it is time to stop watching the video and start reading the book! Loved season 1 and 2. As other have noted, it looks as if the original writers were all canned, and new writers were brought into the MITHC universe to write for the existing characters.
This season goes nowhere and everywhere fast. It does NOT explain season 1 and 2. I feel bad for the actors that were under contract to try and present this drivel after doing such a good job in seasons 1 and 2.

What a shame. The 3rd season takes a different route than the first two and not for the better. Luckily, Tagomi and John Smith carry this show and are the only characters that remain interesting.
There are too many eye-rolling parts of this season as they attempt to cram every current political agenda into it.
You won't miss anything. Dang I rewatched season 1 and 2 for this? This isn't the same show I could no longer make it work, writers making it too hard.
A great show ruined. This is what happens when writers put their personal agenda over the story based on interviews I saw, they did this because they didn't expect to get another season so they just considered this a bonus round to air their personal grievances having nothing to do with the story.
Could do without the nudity too. Good show gone bad. Couldn't finish episode I suspected after season 2 that the show had come to end.
I felt anything after that would be an add-on of junk. Well I was correct. The season really has no specific direction, hobbling from one story to another.
